[Cranbury, NJ - October 21, 2025] - IVIEW Therapeutics is pleased to share that its clinical research on a novel eyelid-delivered TRPM8 agonist (IVW-1001) for Dry Eye Disease was featured in two recent ReachMD podcast episodes, recorded in conjunction with the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) 2025 Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida. In these interviews, Houman D. Hemmati, M.D., Ph.D., Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the USC Keck School of Medicine, discussed the current unmet needs in Dry Eye Disease care and presented key findings from IVIEW’s Phase 1/2a clinical trial evaluating IVW-1001 eyelid wipes. The first episode, titled “Overcoming Barriers in Dry Eye Disease Care: Current and Emerging Options,” explored the limitations of current therapies and highlighted how alternative delivery routes—such as an eyelid-based approach—may improve tolerability and convenience for patients. The second episode, “Evaluating Eyelid Wipes for Dry Eye Disease: Clinical Trial Insights,” detailed the design and results of IVIEW’s proof-of-concept study, which demonstrated promising efficacy and safety outcomes across both signs and symptoms of Dry Eye Disease. The trial validated a novel, non-corneal delivery route targeting TRPM8 receptors on the eyelid margin to stimulate natural tear production and improve ocular comfort. “We’re thrilled to see the growing recognition of IVW-1001’s potential to redefine how Dry Eye Disease is treated,” said Bo Liang, Ph.D., Founder and CEO of IVIEW Therapeutics. “Dr. Hemmati’s discussion on ReachMD underscores the scientific innovation and patient-centric approach behind our platform as we prepare for the next phase of clinical development.” Both episodes are now available on ReachMD’s Eye on Ocular Health channel: • Overcoming Barriers in Dry Eye Disease Care: Current and Emerging Options • Evaluating Eyelid Wipes for Dry Eye Disease: Clinical Trial Insight About IVIEW Therapeutics Inc.
