(Reuters: SUN.BO, Bloomberg: SUNP IN, NSE: SUNPHARMA, BSE: 524715) today announced that th e U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved its Supplemental New Drug Application (sNDA) for Ximino TM (Minocycline HCl) extended-release capsules 45 mg, 90 mg and 135 mg. Ximino TM extended-release capsules are indicated for inflammatory lesions of non-nodular moderate to severe acne vulgaris in patients 12 years of age and older. Thi s approval further strengthens the Company’s brande d dermatology portfolio in the US. It expects Ximino TM extended-release capsules to be available for pati ents during the fourth quarter of 2015.
