CSPC PharmaCeutiCal GrouP limited ʮ ̡ (Incorporated in Hong Kong with limited liability) (Stock Code: 1093) VoluNtarY aNNouNCeme Nt iNNo VatiVe druG “SYha1813 oral Solutio NS” oBtaiNS CliNiCal trial aPProVal The board of directors (the “ Board”) of CSPC Pharmaceutical Group Limited (the “ Company ”, together with its subsidiaries, the “ Group”) is pleased to announce that the Group’s Category 1 innovative drug “SYHA1813 Oral Solutions” (the “ Product ”) has obtained approval granted by the National Medical Products Administration of the People’s Republic of China to conduct clinical trials in China. The Product has been granted patents in a number of countries, including China and the United States. The Product is a multi-target inhibitor jointly developed by Shanghai Runshi Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd*ʮ̡, a subsidiary of the Company, and Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The clinical indication for this approval is relapsed or advanced solid tumors, including high grade glioma, brain metastasis, kidney cancer, colorectal cancer, thyroid cancer, lung cancer, gastric cancer and giant cell tumor of tendon sheath. The pre-clinical studies have shown that the Product has good efficacy on a number of tumors (including glioma, kidney cancer, colorectal cancer) by inhibiting a variety of kinases with its high activity, and also has good safety as well as pharmacokinetic characteristics, providing a promising prospect of demonstrating good efficacy in the clinical trials.
