CSPC PHARMACEUTICAL GROUP LIMITED (Incorporated in Hong Kong with limited liability) (Stock Code: 1093) ʮ ̡ VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT JMT108 (BI-FUNCTIONAL FUSION PROTEIN DRUG) OBTAINS CLINICAL TRIAL APPROVAL IN CHINA The board of directors (the ‘‘Board ’’) of CSPC Pharmaceutical Group Limited (the ‘‘Company ’’, together with its subsidiaries, the ‘‘Group ’’) is pleased to announce that JMT108 (the ‘‘Product ’’), a new Class I bi-functional fusion protein drug developed by t he Group, has been approved by the National Medical Products Administration of the People ’s Republic of China to conduct clinical trials in China. The Product is a recombinant fully human anti-PD-1/IL-15 bi -functional fusion protein, which relieves immunosuppression on PD-1 positive tumor infiltrating imm une cells caused by the interaction of PD-1 and PD-L1, and further promotes the proliferation and activ ation of related immune cells through PD-1 antibody binding-dependent activation of the IL-15 downst ream signaling pathway, thereby achieving enhanced anti-tumor efficacy. The indication for this appr oval is advanced malignant tumors. Preclinical studies demonstrated that the Product had a bro ad variety of indications with significant anti-tumor effects and a good safety profile in multiple mal ignant tumor models, providing a promising clinical development value.
