CSPC PHARMACEUTICAL GROU P LIMITED ͩᖹණྠ Ϟʮ̡ (Incorporated in Hong Kong with limited liability) (Stock code: 1093) VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT “LENV ATINIB MESILATE CAPSULES” OBTAINS DRUG REGISTRATION APPROV AL The board of directors (the “Board”) of CSPC Pharmaceutical Group Limited (the “Company”, together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) is pleased to announce that the “Lenvatinib Mesilate Capsules (4mg)” (the “Product”) developed by CSPC Ouyi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.*(ʮ̡), a subsidiary of the Group, has obtained drug registration approval granted by the National Medical Products Administration of the People’s Republic of China, and is deemed to have passed the consistency of quality and efficacy evaluation of generic drugs. Lenvatinib is a receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) inhibitor that can inhibit the kinase activities of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) receptors VEGFR1 (FLT1), VEGFR2 (KDR) and VEGFR3 (FLT4). In addition, it can inhibit other RTKs that are implicated in angiogenesis and pathway in tumorigenesis, including fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR). Lenvatinib mesilate capsules are indicated for patients with unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma who have not received prior systemic therapy. It has been used for the first line treatment of middle-advanced liver cancer in China, Japan, the U.S. and other countries. The approval of the Product will further enhance the Group’s product portfolio and contribute to the Group’s development in the field of anti-tumor.
