Daewoong Pharmaceutical’s Ursa completed registration in Georgia - Daewoong Pharmaceutical completed approval process for its 6 mainstay products such as Ursa, EZN 6, Bearse Tab, Albis Tab, etc. - LUPHERE, a medicine for treating the prostate cancer, completed CTA(Clinical Trial Authorization) application for clinical trial in Russia Daewoong Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd(President: Lee Jong-wook) announced on December 3 that it completed registration of its 6 flagship products in Georgia. In December last year, Daewoong Pharmaceutical entered into a contract with Georgia-based Eczamed to supply products. The 6 products that completed registration are ‘Composite Urusa Soft Cap’, ‘Daewoong Urusa Soft Cap’, ‘EZN 6 Pro Soft Cap’, ‘Bearse Tab’, ‘Gomcephin Daewoong INJ 1000mg’, and ‘Albis Tab’, which will be exported from the beginning of 2015. Moreover, Albendazole Daewoong TAB and Gemron Gold Tab are slated for registration in the first half of next year. Jeon Seung-ho, Director of Global Marketing, Daewoong Pharmaceutical, said, “The registration of Daewoong Pharmaceutical’s medicines in Russia and CIS region is the result of effort to expand its global business capabilities. We will use this registration as springboard to expand our reach in global market beyond Russia and CIS region.” In addition, Daewoong Pharmaceutical completed CTA(Clinical Trial Authorization) application for Luphere in Russia last November and aims to finalize CTA application process and launch clinical trial in Russia in the first quarter of next year. Besides, Daewoong Pharmaceutical is proceeding with procedure to register 4 products, such as Albis Tab, Gomcephin Daewoong INJ 500mg/1000mg, Sulbacillin Vial 750mg/1.5g, Gomcef Dry Syrup, in Azerbaija and CT contrast agent Neo Best Inj, etc., in Russia and Ukraine.
