This makes it the first and only drug approved in Canada for the treatment of Rett syndrome. In Canada, prevalence of Rett syndrome is estimated to be 600 to 900 patients.1 In Canada, DAYBUE is indicated for the treatment of Rett syndrome in adults and pediatric patients two years of age and older and weighing at least 9 kg.
