Bambusa Therapeutics Abstract on BBT002 Accepted for Oral Presentation at ATS 2026

An abstract on Bambusa’s next-generation bispecific antibody BBT002 has been accepted for oral presentation at the ATS 2026 International Conference , taking place May 15–20, 2026 in Orlando, FL. BBT002 is designed to simultaneously target IL-4Rα and IL-5 , two classical, central but orthogonal drivers of type 2 inflammation. By addressing both pathways in a single molecule with half-life extension, BBT002 is designed to deliver more comprehensive and durable pathway suppression than single-target approaches. The oral presentation, titled “Safety, Tolerability, Pharmacokinetics, and Pharmacodynamics of BBT002, a Novel Bispecific IL-4Rα/IL-5 Antibody: Results From the Single- and Multiple-Ascending Dose Healthy Volunteers Portions of a Phase I Study,” will highlight Phase I healthy volunteer data from the SAD and MAD portions of the study. Selection for an oral presentation underscores the growing recognition of BBT002 as a differentiated approach within the global respiratory research and physician community. We look forward to presenting these first-in-human clinical data at ATS 2026 and engaging with the field on how simultaneous, durable suppression of complementary type 2 inflammatory pathways may translate into meaningful clinical benefit across severe respiratory diseases and along the lifetime of patients.
