CSPC PharmaCeutiCal GrouP limited ʮ ̡ (Incorporated in Hong Kong with limited liability) (Stock Code: 1093) VoluNtarY aNNouNCeme Nt “doCetaXel F or iNJeCtio N ( alBumiN-B ouNd)” oBtaiNS CliNiCal trial aPProVal The board of directors (the “ Board”) of CSPC Pharmaceutical Group Limited (the “ Company ”, together with its subsidiaries, the “ Group”) is pleased to announce that “Docetaxel for Injection (albumin-bound)” (the “Product”) developed by CSPC Zhongqi Pharmaceutical Technology (Shijiazhuang) Co., Ltd.* ʮ̡, a subsidiary of the Company, has obtained appoval granted by the National Medical Products Administration of the People’s Republic of China to conduct clinical trials in China. The Product applies innovative technology to encapsulate docetaxel into human serum albumin, and is planned to develop for solid tumor indication. Compared with docetaxel injection, the Product has the following advantages: (1) safety: it enhances safety and patient compliance by rapid administration of concentrated dosage without hormone pre-treatment; (2) efficacy: it demonstrates significant efficacy in multiple tumor models in pre-clinical studies, and allows higher dosage clinically to further enhance efficacy. The Product is expected to demonstrate good anti-tumor efficacy in the clinical studies. The Product is a class 2 chemical drug and currently there is no product of the same type available in the global market. The Group will endeavor to push forward the clinical trials of the Product and strive to launch the Product as soon as possible.
