CSPC PHARMACEUTICAL GROUP LIMITED (Incorporated in Hong Kong with limited liability) (Stock Code: 1093) ʮ ̡ VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT CLEVIDIPINE INJECTABLE EMULSION OBTAINS DRUG REGISTRATION APPROVAL The Board of Directors (the ‘‘Board ’’) of CSPC Pharmaceutical Group Limited (the ‘‘Company ’’, together with its subsidiaries, the ‘‘Group ’’) is pleased to announce that the Clevidipine Injectable Emulsion (50ml:25mg, 100ml:50mg) (the ‘‘Product ’’) developed by the Group, has obtained drug registration approval granted by the National Medical Prod ucts Administration of the People ’s Republic of China. The Product is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker an d belongs to the class of fast-acting intravenous antihypertensive drugs indicated for the trea tment of patients with hypertension when oral therapy is not feasible or is anticipated to be ineffective. Compared to drugs commonly used in clinical practice, the Product demonstrates the following distinct advantages: a faster onset of action, enabling rapid, real-time, and precise blood pressure control; more suitable for patients with hepatic or renal dysfunction, with no dose adjustment required during admin istration; no need for dilution prior to administration, providing significant benefits for patie nts at risk of fluid overload. The approval of the Product will further enrich the Group ’s product pipeline in the therapeutic area of cardiovascular disease, enhance the Group ’s competitiveness in this field, and is expected to address t he unmet clinical needs for medications used in hypertensive e mergencies.
