Visirna Announces Dosing of the First Subjects in China Phase I Study of VSA003

SHANGHAI, CHINA – July 7ᵗʰ, Visirna today announced that it has dosed the first subjects in a China Phase I clinical study of VSA003, an RNAi-based investigational medicine targeting angiopoietin-like protein 3 (ANGPTL3) being developed for the potential treatment of dyslipidemia and metabolic diseases. Professor Rui Chen, M.D., Principal Investigator at Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH), said: "We've been paying close attention to innovative therapies in the cardiovascular and metabolic fields, especially the small nucleic acid drugs in China.
