Zydus announces settlement with Supernus on Trokendi XR® (topiramate) extended-release capsules Ahmedabad, March 7, 2017 Cadila Healthcare Limited, a global pharmaceuticals company, and its subsidiary Zydus Pharmaceuticals (USA) Inc., a leading generic pharmaceutical company in the United States, today announced that they have finalized an agreement with Supernus Pharmaceuticals, Inc., to settle all outstanding patent litigation related to Trokendi XR® (topiramate) extended-release capsules. Under the terms of the agreement, Supernus grants Zydus a license to market Zyd us’ generic version of Trokendi XR® (topiramate) extended -release capsules beginning on January 1, 2023, or earlier under certain circumstances. Other terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
