CSPC PHARMACEUTICAL GROUP LIMITED (Incorporated in Hong Kong with limited liability) (Stock Code: 1093) ʮ ̡ VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT APREPITANT INJECTION OBTAINS DRUG REGISTRATION APPROVAL The Board of Directors (the ‘‘Board ’’) of CSPC Pharmaceutical Group Limited (the ‘‘Company ’’, together with its subsidiaries, the ‘‘Group ’’) is pleased to announce that the Aprepitant Injection (4.4ml:32mg) (the ‘‘Product ’’) developed by the Group has obtained drug registration appr oval granted by the National Medical Products Administration of the Peop le’s Republic of China. The Product is a submicron emulsion injection of a new-gener ation neurokinin-1 (NK-1) receptor antagonist, which can bind with high selectivity to NK-1 rec eptors in the brain and antagonise substance P to effectively prevent acute and delayed vomiti ng. The Product is indicated for the prevention of postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) in a dults. Compared to the traditional dosage form of aprepitant, the Product has a faster onset of action, can significantly improve patient compliance, and effectively reduce the incidence of allerg ic reactions during clinical use, providing a better medication option for the prevention of postoperati ve nausea and vomiting in adults. The Aprepitant Injection (18ml:130mg) developed by the Gro up obtained drug registration approval in September 2024. It is primarily indicated for the preventio n of nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy. The approval of the Product will further enha nce the Group ’s competitiveness in the antiemetic field.
