Daewoong Pharmaceutical (CEO Sengho Jeon) participated in ‘IMCAS Asia 2019,’ an international seminar held in Bali, Indonesia, from the 5th through the 7th to announce the excellence of its original Botulinum Toxin formula, ‘NABOTA.’ ‘IMCAS Asia’ is a major event in Asia hosted by IMCAS (International Master Course on Aging Science), which is one of three leading societies of cosmetic surgery in the world, and celebrates the 13th anniversary.  About 85 companies and more than 2,200 cosmetic surgery practitioners participated in it. Daewoong Pharmaceutical installed a booth for display and hosted a separate symposium to introduce to the participants the excellence of NABOTA and the significance of FDA approval.  In particular, American Dermatologist Hema Sundaram, who had participated in the global clinical studies, chaired and spoke at the symposium to present the results of global clinical studies that had taken place in the U.S., Europe, and Canada for more than 2,100 subjects. “Clinicians focus on the efficacies and safety of products and check the evidence to choose products that patients can trust,” said Hema Sundaram.  “In this respect, Daewoong Pharmaceutical’s Botulinum Toxin has proven its efficacies and safety through U.S. FDA approval and equivalence compared to Botox in all aspects, including improvement of frown lines and safety, through the global clinical studies.” Also, Daewoong Pharmaceutical invited about 30 specialists and officials in the field of cosmetic surgery from six countries—Korea, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and India—in addition to the seminar and hosted NABOTA Aesthetic Forum in Bali on the 6th.  Celebrating its 5th anniversary, NABOTA Aesthetic Forum is NABOTA academic training program which Daewoong Pharmaceutical offers to the medical practitioners abroad.
